What you type into the request form: your name, phone, email, property address and details, and your answers. If you leave the form part way through, we keep what you entered so far so we can follow up. If you pay a deposit, the payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
To book your visit, prepare your plan, and contact you about your request by phone, text or email. We also use it to see where people drop off so we can improve the form.
When you sign up for the Home Ready newsletter or ask for the $50 promo code, we keep your email to send you the newsletter and our offers. In the promo pop-up, the newsletter is optional: uncheck the box and you get offers only. We use Kit to send these emails. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
If you pay a deposit, Stripe saves your card so we can charge the rest of your plan price when your plan is ready. We never see your card number.
When you ask for a clearing quote from the defensible space calculator, we keep your name, phone, email, address, notes and calculator answers so we can give you a price.
When you use the fire zone check, your address is sent to the U.S. Census Bureau (or OpenStreetMap if the Census cannot find it) to find it on a map, and the location is checked against CAL FIRE's public maps. We do not store it. If you tap "Use my location," your browser shares your location once to run the check. We do not store that either.
We do not sell your information. It is stored with our database provider (Supabase), payment processor (Stripe) and email provider (Kit), and your booking is held by our scheduling provider (Cal.com).
We use PostHog to see which pages get used (pages visited and clicks, not what you type). It sets a cookie and respects your browser's Do Not Track setting. We do not record sessions.
