The Fire Ready Plan
A wildfire home assessment and step-by-step plan for what insurers and fire inspectors look for. Built on the published IBHS Wildfire Prepared Home standard.
On site, we check
- Your fire hazard zone, confirmed
- House fire safety: vents, roof, gutters, eaves, decks
- Defensible space: the first 5 feet out to 100 feet or your property line
- Items insurers commonly ask about

In your plan
- A zone diagram of your property
- Fire risks, identified and ranked
- Dated photos of each issue
- The rule behind each fix
- Each fix priced from local rates, basic to complete
- Where you stand on the coming Zone 0 rules
- The order of work: what first, what next, who to hire
- A design consultation, so options fit your style
- A call to walk you through it
- A one-page summary for your insurer
The plan is yours to keep, whether or not you hire us.
How it works
- Book. Call, text, or take the 2-minute quiz.
- Walkthrough. We walk your property, inside the vents and up the ladder, and talk through how you want it to look.
- Plan. You get your ranked plan with priced options, and we walk you through it on a call.
- Fixed and documented. After the work, an optional final check with dated photos for your insurer or a sale.
Price
From $299. Your price depends on your property and town, and shows at the end of the quiz.
Fire and storms both? The Home Ready Plan covers both in one visit, from $399.
Half of your plan fee can be credited toward our brush clearing or project management packages. Jobs of $1,500 or more, booked within 60 days.
